“Medical Mycology” is a peer-reviewed scientific journal focusing on presenting original and innovative research devoted to all aspects of medical and veterinary mycology and the subject of fungal infections in oncology, pulmonology, gynecology and dentistry. Detailed issues raised in the journal include: etiologic agents of fungal infections, antifungal treatment and prevention and evaluation of new antifungal medicines. The journal publishes the best works from around the world describing original clinical trials. Moreover, it includes educational and review articles, as well as case reports written by mycologists, microbiologists and clinicians. In “Medical Mycology” reports from medical conferences, press releases and letters to the editor are also presented. The Scientific Committeeconfirms the status of the magazine. The group consists of prominent experts from around the world.
The journal publishes papers in Polish and English, each article contains a summary in both languages.
The journal is directed to physicians of different specialties who deal with fungal infections in their daily practice, among others dermatologists, microbiologists, internists, infectious disease physicians, immunologists, parasitologists and veterinarians.
