We present a case of a 5 week old infant, breast-fed, with problems of blood containing vomiting and spill-outs since the 3rd week of life.
CT scan and gastroscopy revealed the presence of pathologic gastroesopageal reflux and gastroduodenitis. As the most probable cause of the above food allergy was assumed. The bidirectional treatment was conducted: hypoallergic diet for the mother and H2 blocker + prokinetic treatment for the child with good clinical effect.
