An 8-year-old girl was treated in our Department between 1997 and 1998 due to neuroblastoma. After this treatment total clinical and radiological remission was achieved. Two years later the patient was again admitted with the following symptoms: insomnia, weight loss, visual disorders, skull diastasis, positive meningeal symptoms. MRI of the head revealed a tumour in the left occipitotemporal region. The tumour was removed surgically and histopatological examinations confirmed neuroblastoma metastasis. The patient underwent chemotherapy according to the Treatment Protocol for CNS Malignant Tumours. One year follow-up examinations showed total remission of the disease.
